Step It Up 2: Who's a Leader?
This fall, Americans will demand real action on global warming and leaders who can deliver it when the Sierra Club's Cool Cities Campaign teams up with Step It Up to present "Step It Up 2: Who's a Leader?" From coast to coast, we'll rally in our communities and invite our politicians to join us. We'll see who rises to the occasion and who has a real plan to tackle the defining challenge of our time.
More about Step It Up 2

National Day of Climate Action
You'll remember the National Day of Climate Action that was organized by Step It Up last April. Sierra Club activists played a key role in organizing events to help send a vital message: We need to cut carbon emissions 80% by the year 2050 in order to avoid the extreme consequences of global warming. We organized rallies and walks, sponsored speakers, held bicycling events--even impersonated polar bears!

Host an Event!
Please sign up to host an event on Nov. 3. Step It Up is counting on us again, and this time they're working closely with our Cool Cities Campaign, which has hundreds of dedicated volunteers and local efforts already in place. We'll make it easy for you by providing toolkit materials, like the "How to Throw a Step It Up Rally" toolkit and fact sheets below. More will be posted here as we get closer to the event, so be sure to check back with us.
