Photos of the DuPont DeLisle pollution

Dupont pollution
This photo, taken in mid October after Katrina, shows DuPont DeLisle apparently attempting to pump back waste from the marsh into a reconstructed open waste pit on the other side of the railroad tracks. The marsh shown above drains to the Bay of St. Louis.

Dupont pollution
This photo of a plume of water coming from near DuPont site was taken in May 2005. DuPont denied it was releasing anything that could have resulted in this visible plume of pollution that was observed after a long period without rain, indicating this wasn't stormwater runoff. This plume of pollution is coming from the same bayou as in the photo above.
