The Sierra Club's Environmental Voter Education (EVEC) Campaign
EVEC, or the Environmental Voter Education Campaign, is the Sierra Club's project to hold policy-makers accountable for their environmental positions, to ensure that the public is aware of the candidates' positions as they prepare to vote and that they turn out on Election Day. Our goal is to educate the American public about the importance of environmental issues, the voting records and positions of candidates, and to create demand for environmentally responsible leaders.
