State chapter to hire grassroots Conservation Organizer to fight climate change

Washington is home to some of the most beautiful and ecologically important wild places while also being on the tip of the spear in the fight to stop climate change. The Washington chapter of Sierra Club is hiring a Conservation Organizer to build grassroots power to challenge new fossil fuel infrastructure, build a renewable energy future for the state, and ensure we effectively address climate change.

Sierra Club is working with partner organizations across the Northwest in building a movement for strong action on climate change. We are looking for someone who is hard-working and energetic, can work in both urban and rural communities, and is willing to travel extensively. We are looking for someone who has experience working with and developing volunteer leaders and who can expand our network of partners to include a diverse set of constituencies.

If you are excited to work with a talented and committed group of volunteers and staff to protect our wild places and challenge the dominance of the fossil fuel industry, apply today!

We are accepting applications until Feb. 26.
