Top 10 Reasons to join the Tar Sands Resistance March on June 6th!

Top 10 Reasons you should be excited about the Tar Sands Resistance March on June 6th:

 
1. Over 1,500 people have already RSVPed to join us in the Twin Cities on June 6th!
2. More than 60 national, regional and local organizations are already supporting the March!
3. 20 buses of people from across 10 states in the region will be joining us at the March!
4. We have an amazing speaker & performer line-up including Reverend Yearwood (Hip Hop Caucus), Winona LaDuke (Honor the Earth), Rep. Keith Ellison, Chris Wahmhoff (MICATS), Melissa Daniels (Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation) and Bill McKibben (350)!

5. It will take literally hundreds of hands to carry all the amazing art that was built over 5 days for the March (watch the video from the art build here)!
6. The CommunityIndigenousFaithLandowner, Bakken pipeline fightersCoalition Against Oil by Rail and Youth will have blocs at the March and the main facebook event page is here!
7. The music: From drums and conch shells and the Raging Grannies, to a welcome song from Greg Grey Cloud and performance by Frank Waln (recently featured on MTV’s Rebel Music program), there will be some powerful music!
