12/19/2025:   We originally were going hiking in Van Cortlandt Park but because of heavy rains we instead pivoted to Ice Skating at Prospect Park which had a covered rink.  We were about 12 young people from the Door's Youth Council, most of the young people had never skated before as well as the adults. It was fun seeing them go from serious young adults to young people being joyful on the ice. They all learned quickly. Afterward, we went for some hot cacao at a nearby Guatemalan place and reflected on the day.
