MS 167 at Bear Mountain!

2/28/26: We brought 34 students from 6th-8th grades from MS 167 Robert F Wagner Middle School to go ice skating at Bear Mountain. It was a beautiful, sunny day and most of the students skating for the full 90 minutes of the session! Then we ate our lunches in the carousel building and enjoyed carousel rides. After lunch, we split up into two groups - one group did a leisurely walk around the lake at Bear Mountain, and the second group got on the bus to go across the river and hike Anthony's Nose. The trail was full of snow, so it was a slow, but adventurous hike up the mountain, and the stunning panoramic views of the river at the top were worth it for those who made it all the way! On the way down, we had the time of our lives sliding down the mountain in the snow on our butts!
