Kate Grayson and Sadie Magnifico worked with students at Fort Lewis College to fill in a landscape on campus with indigenous shrubs and perennials. These plants support wildlife, including critical pollinator insects.

The Southwest CO Group bought plants from local nurseries, High Plains Nursery and Cliff Rose Nursery, and from Natural Resources Conservation Service seedling program.

The money came from a grant from Colorado Chapter Sierra Club. We are grateful to these growers and suppliers for providing high quality, acclimated native plants.
