While Sierra Club is active in pursuing important environmental legislation, it is made much easier when our elected officials are sympathetic to our causes. To that end, when elections come around, we spend time evaluating the candidates and in some cases endorsing and actively working for their election.
Volunteers are always welcome to participate in our Political Committee that evaluates candidates, conducts interviews, works in campaigns of endorsed candidates, and develops communications.

Endorsements for the 2024 Elections
The complete lists are available here. You can look up your districts, polling place, etc., at Your Voter Information | Cook County Clerk (cookcountyclerkil.gov). Early voting starts March 4. Election Day is March 19. Remember to vote!
