Sierra Club Catoctin Group and Sierra Club Maryland Chapter have interviewed and endorsed several candidates running for office in the upcoming primary election on June 23.
This is our opportunity to elect officials who will shape our direction for at least the next decade. We work to endorse and elect champions for clean air, clean water, wildlife and wild places, and action to address climate change.
Primary election June 23; general election November 3.
The Sierra Club endorses candidates who we believe will be leaders in developing strong pro-environmental policies. We are continuing to consider endorsements and will be making more endorsements as we get closer to the election.
In addition to the state and local offices that Catoctin Group endorsed below, the Maryland Chapter has endorsed the following candidates for state offices:
