There's nothing like an in-person membership meeting to light up and fortify our energy and commitment to preserve, protect and enjoy this planet. Check our webpage regularly for the latest updates on what we are doing and when we are doing it. October's date is coming soon. We'll consider the best ways to pursue our goals going forward. GoGreenOC is ending its season in October! This summer this incredible organization surpassed its 1-million-pound mark for the amount of food waste it has converted into nutritious compost. They are working tirelessly to turn Ocean City into the first Zero Waste Resort in America! That's a big deal, so check them out here and do what you can to make that goal come true.
ELECTIONS: Sierra Club is a democratic grassroots organization where volunteer leaders elected by members set priorities and chart the course. In November, we will be voting on executive committee positions for the Chapter and all of the local Groups.
Any member of the Sierra Club is eligible to run for office in the jurisdiction in which they reside. Membership is open to all and all members are encouraged to vote in the election. To join or renew your membership, visit our website and click the orange "Join" button at the top.
