Now, about that picture above. On Wednesday, November 19th at 6:30 p.m., we will screen (no charge!) "Plastic People," a real-life story of the effects of micro-plastics on our bodies and our children's bodies.
Knowledge is power, and we need all the power we can muster as we work to reduce this plastic poison that is invading our bodies.
See our calendar here for details on this intensely absorbing screening about what may be the greatest threat to our existence yet.
Nothing is more valuable to us than our health. No amount of money can ever substitute for the gift of good health. Over 50 years of warnings and notices and shout-outs from environmental experts that we were spinning toward major catastrophes because of climate change were ignored as fossil fuel magnets covered the news with infamous lies and disinformation.
Their profits came at a price. We pay that price now. We may as well get to know what we got for it.
Join us on November 19th at 6:30 p.m. at the Berlin Library, 13 Harrison Avenue, and see this important film for yourself. Details HERE.
The Maryland Chapter of the Sierra Club is also hosting a presentation about our campaign and organizational goals for the upcoming year and how you can get involved. Register HERE for the October 29th presentation at 7:00 p.m.
Thanks for all you do for the environment,
Jacky Grindrod Vice-Chair Sierra Club Lower Eastern Shore Group
