Like any organization that works to improve our lives, whether it be environmentally, medically, educationally, economically or spiritually, we sometimes have to raise some money to do it.
Nothing says we can't have fun doing it though. Here's a chance for us to meet in person, enjoy a delicious meal, and "refresh that cupboard" at the same time. We're not asking for another single thing besides that you treat yourself to a nice meal with fellow nature-lovers. Meeting you in person will be a benefit to us that well exceeds the benefit of the $$.
See the menu here for Sunday March 29th between 12 and 4 p.m. and join us for a relaxing and rewarding time among like-minded hungry conservationists.
ALSO: We don't want to lose track of our good friends at Go Green OC just because they had to close down during winter. These amazing folk have already composted over 1.3 million pounds of food waste from Ocean City to make unbeatable fertilizer.
Food waste takes up a lot of space in landfills - sometimes more than half - and it does no good there. Go Green OC, and composting generally, are the way to go this Spring when you feed your garden.
Explore Go Green OC here. Support their efforts. Purchase their compost. AND, they always welcome volunteers.
That's it for now, folks. Thanks for all you do for the environment and best wishes to everyone as Spring opens up.
