It has saved from extinction 99 percent of all the species listed for protection.
ALBANY, NY -- Today, Governor Kathy Hochul signed the Birds and Bees Protection Act into law. The new law will eliminate 80-90 percent of the toxic class of pesticides called neonicotinoids, or neonics for short, from entering New York’s environment.
