Voter Information:   Registered voters should receive a ballot in the mail this week or next.  You can vote by mail, in ballot drop boxes, or in person.  Voting through drop boxes or in person can be done up until 8PM on Nov. 3, but sending through the US Mail should be done sooner. Recent changes in postal regulations have caused the number of ballots rejected for arriving late to skyrocket, so those mailing ballots should do so a minimum of several days before Nov. 3.

For more information on how to cast your ballot please see:

Ventura County voters:   https://recorder.countyofventura.org/elections/elections/voter-information/vote-by-mail/

For those not yet registered, there’s still time!  You can register online up until October 19.  You can register and vote in-person up until election day.  For more information go to https://registertovote.ca.gov/

The Sierra Club leverages the power of our volunteers and members to help elect environmental candidates. To ensure selection of the best candidates, our volunteers and staff have developed criteria and a multi-step endorsement process. Driven by our grassroots members, the process begins at the chapter level. Volunteers examine each candidate's environmental record and distribute questionnaires to candidates who meet our criteria. Our selection committee evaluates responses and interviews candidates. Any proposed endorsement must win super-majority support of multiple local committees, and then committees at the state or national level to become final. Throughout our process, volunteers and staff evaluate the environmental and public health records of candidates, their electability and their propensity to be a true environmental champion.

Paid for by Sierra Club Political Committee, www.sierraclub.org, and not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee.
