Wildlife photography can sometimes appear one-dimensional. Images captured by David Yarrow—a British fine-art photographer who happens to focus on wildlife—are something else altogether. Since 2011, he has spent a total of 30 days shooting in the Arctic archipelago of Svalbard, Norway. He says that this shot was pure luck, never to be repeated. It's visual proof that wildlife photography can transcend reportage to become pure art.
