The Executive Committee of the Coastal Bend Group of the Sierra Club is pleased to announce the Sierra Club candidate endorsements for the 2022 General Election for the Corpus Christi City Council. The Corpus Christi City Council has a huge impact on environmental issues that affect all of us living in the Coastal Bend. Actually, the decisions made locally have an environmental impact far and wide.

The decision to endorse specific candidates is based on three primary factors – (1) the history of a candidate with respect to working for the environment in accord with Sierra Club values and goals, (2) the responses to a questionnaire that we sent to all of the candidates, (3) the stated policies on the candidate’s web site or social media site.

The Corpus Christi City Council candidates, and also all statewide candidates, that are being endorsed by the Sierra Club are located here. The statewide candidates will be on everyone's ballot.
