Supervisorial Races

District 1 (Mid-county):  Lani Faulkner. (laniforsupervisor.org). Lani has been a lecturer in biology and environmental studies, among many other things, during the decades she has lived in the District. A Founder of Transit Equity, Lani has been a leader in the move for a county wide train and trail network- a project the Club very much supports. She is currently a member of the Sierra Club Santa Cruz Group executive committee.

District 2 (Capitola, Aptos, Freedom): Kristen Brown. (votekristenbrown.com). With 7 years on the Capitola City Council, Kristen brings the most relevant experience to the race. Kristen does support the rail and trail, among other Sierra Club priorities.
