Every race matters. From city council members and county commissioners to state and federal legislators, the leaders we elect make decisions that shape the health of our communities, our climate, and our shared future. That's why Sierra Club Washington carefully vets candidates to evaluate their records, values, and commitment to protecting our ecosystems and advancing environmental justice. Our endorsements are designed to help voters identify leaders who will actively work to advance policies that safeguard clean air and water, protect fish and wildlife habitat, promote healthy communities, and a help realize a more sustainable Washington. Your vote matters in every race—and together, we can elect champions for people and the planet.
