FLORIDA. -- Seminole Electric Coop has received its fourth consecutive failing grade, according to the Sierra Club’s 2024 Dirty Truth Report. The cooperative is just one of four utilities of the 75 analyzed in the report to have scored four straight scores of 0 out of 100.

ORLANDO, FL. -- Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) has received its fourth consecutive ‘B’, according to the Sierra Club’s 2024 Dirty Truth Report. OUC’s score has improved since last year’s report, jumping eight points from a 61 out of 100 to 69.

PROVIDENCE, RI. – Today, a group of Rhode Island’s climate justice organizations rallied at the State House in opposition to Enbridge’s proposed Project Maple fracked-gas pipeline expansion. The groups hand-delivered a letter addressed to Governor Daniel McKee and the Department of Environmental Management. In total, eleven State Representatives and three State Senators signed on opposing the project. The petition-signers and community members present at the rally demand the denial of all further Project Maple permits.
