Renewable Energy

Pueblo, CO is Ready for 100% Renewable Energy!

Something incredible is happening right now across the globe. Achieving 100% clean energy is becoming "the new normal" in the fight to solve climate change. This is an exciting time to get involved as technologies are improving and becoming cheaper for the market. But we need volunteers to help organize to make it happen! So please join us as we organize the “Ready for 100” campaign right here in Pueblo, CO.

Ready for 100 is a national Sierra Club campaign to get cities across the nation to commit to 100% clean energy, but in Pueblo- it is also about energy justice. Pueblo City Council needs a movement of assertive rate payers and concerned citizens to bring affordable energy to Pueblo.

A local grassroots network, Pueblo’s Energy Future, has been meeting for the past 3 years about the energy issues in Pueblo- from high energy rates, concerns about the investor-owned utility, energy efficiency improvements, and opportunities for renewable energy. Our partnerships with organizations in town and the people in the community will be what pushes the change for Renewable Energy in Pueblo. Our campaign workshops will lay the foundation for the upcoming programming centered on renewable energy. We are the voice for Clean Energy for Pueblo! We hope you will join us! Please get involved in the Ready for 100 campaign locally and advocate for change.
