Gene Sands, long time member of the Piasa Palisades Sierra Club and bird/prairie expert will display his artistic talents this weekend.
Gene will have his photography on display from 1-5 p.m. July 13-14 at the Fosterburg Town Hall, 2919 Main St. in Alton, off Fosterburg Road. He helped design the trees at the Town Hall gazebo. Any proceeds will go to help The Nature Institute and Heartland Prairie, the TreeHouse Wildlife Center and the Watershed Nature Center in Edwardsville.
Also, TreeHouse will have a hawk or owl on hand.
