Join a Maine Climate Action Team in Your Community

Mainers are demanding action to protect our climate and move as quickly as possible to 100% clean energy. We simply can’t wait for the next election to begin making progress on this goal.  That’s why we are launching our Maine Climate Action Team (CAT) program.

Local Climate Action Teams are organizing now throughout Maine to implement climate solutions including community solar projects,  solar panels on school or town buildings, developing a town energy efficiency plan, advocating for public transportation, launching a local recycling/compost program, opposing dirty energy projects and much more.  These ideas were explored at our recent Maine Grassroots Climate Action Conference.

If you would like to join or form a Climate Action Team in your community, please contact maine.chapter@sierraclub.org or call 207-761-5616.

Go Solar in Maine with Sierra Club and Revision Energy

To support our important environmental advocacy and education work, Maine's largest solar installer ReVision Energy will make a donation for each solar system, purchased by a Sierra Club supporter. To get started, schedule a free appointment with ReVision for an estimate for a photovoltaic and/or hot water solar system for your home or business.

Thanks for doing your part for cleaner energy and helping to support the Sierra Club Maine by going solar!
