Executive Committee Chair

In this fall's election to fill four vacancies on our Executive Committee, we members of the East Missouri Group ( EMG ) have chosen three people new to the ExCom, namely, Mike Bollinger, Heather Kemper, and Frank Lorberbaum. We also re-elected current member Jim Nyberg for another term.

Mike Bollinger Mike Bollinger is currently chair of the EMG Conservation Committee. Mike, whose professional background is in Environmental Chemistry and in Occupational & Environmental Health, is employed by the local electric utility. Frank Lorberbaum Frank Lorberbaum has served our group as chair of Inner City Outings, (ICO.) He is the owner and operator of a local design-build firm, and was the first LEED Accredited Professional in St. Louis. He was a founding Board Member of the local Chapter of the US Green Building Council.
Heather Kemper Heather Kemper is currently serving the Sierra Club as a member of the Political Committee, and assists with the preparation of the Missouri Chapter's Newsletter, the Sierran. Professionally she is the Director of Public Relations for an organization whose mission is to recruit foster/adoptive parents for area children. Jim Nyberg Jim Nyberg is a veteran ExCom member who has been active in EMG since 1980. He has been our EMG group treasurer for a number of years. Jim also has a record of activity on the chapter level, and has served a term as Ozark (now Missouri) Chapter chair.

The three other members of EMG ExCom, whose terms continue through 2009, are Rick Haeseler, Henry Robertson, and Ken Schechtman. The three members of ExCom whose terms expire at the end of 2008 are Del Johnson, Norma Deen Juracsik, and Caroline Pufalt.

Thanks again to everyone who participated–candidates, voters and volunteers alike–who made this election possible.
