Before long spring will be here and this will give you the opportunity to help the Sierra Club finish some much needed trail work at Hawn State Park.

We will be working in a remote area of the Park along the South Loop rerouting several sections of the trail. You may decide to work a day or more. You may also decide to day hike to the work site or camp with us at a back country camp site.

This is one of several outings we will have at Hawn and the Pioneer Forest this Spring, see our schedule below and join us for Fun and Much Needed Trail Work.

March 21-22
Spend the day in the Pioneer Forest with the OTA helping maintain one of the most remote section of the Ozark Trail.

April 4, 5, 6 and 7
Join us for 1-2 or more days working in a remote part of Hawn State Park.

April 11
Enjoy a pre-Easter hike and picnic at Hawn State Park. We will have guided tours of some of the areas we have worked and a potluck picnic afterward.

May
We are planning some outings for May. Check the May SierraScape.

June 6th
