Join Sandy Skolochenko, Chatham County Waste Reduction Coordinator, for an educational program about waste and recycling in Chatham County. Sandy will talk about all of the county’s recycling programs, plus give a tour of the main facility where some of the county’s recyclables are consolidated and additional services are offered. There will be plenty of time for Q&A.
Meet at the Chatham County Solid Waste & Recycling main facility on 28 County Services Road west of Pittsboro. Turn onto Renaissance Drive (formerly County Landfill Rd) off of Hwy 64 and then turn right onto County Services Road. Registration is encouragedby calling 919-545-8044 Monday through Friday at Central Carolina Community College's Continuing Education department.
