The diversity of the fight against climate change was out in full force

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. A lot has changed since the first Peoples Climate March, three years ago in New York City.
In times like this, it's good to have each other. In Washington, D.C., at least 200,000 people came to show support for clean air and water. In cities around the country, gatherings bloomed in parks and civic centers.
Here are a few photos of one of the largest environmental protests and celebrations in U.S. history.
