Join us for the 2024 Locally Grown, Nationally Known celebration

Sustainable businesses can come in many different forms– from veggies and cheese to candles and home improvements – Wisconsin has it all! Please join us as we take a virtual journey around the state to highlight five unique vendors and explore the connection between sustainable practices and grassroots activism. Each has their own special story to tell and we’ll share how their efforts connect with our grassroots activism. It’s a great illustration of how we are all interconnected and the power of our actions.

Our special guests are from:

  • Just Veggiez - Modern, flavorful, soulful, vegan restaurant in Madison, WI.
  • Madeline Island Candles - Featuring handmade candles, each created from natural materials, La Pointe, WI.
  • Oshkosh Food Co-op - A community-owned grocery store featuring fresh, local, organic options in Oshkosh’s central city.
  • Green Homeowners United - A unique organization ready to help your home fight climate change. West Allis, WI
  • Love Tree Farmstead Cheese - Producers of sheep milk cheese, and dry aged “European” style grass fed organic lamb that uses guardian dogs to protect their herd. Grantsburg, WI.

During the evening we will learn, play a few rounds of trivia with other Sierrans from around the state and have opportunities to support the work of the Chapter (Donors will receive a free collection of recipes after the event). So, let’s celebrate! Register today to reserve your spot.
