Welcome to the Tampa Bay Group!  

Tampa Bay is one of 15 groups of the Florida Sierra Club chapter and is made up members and supporters of the environment who primarily live in Hillsborough and southeastern Pasco counties. 

Our focus in on:

• Enjoying, learning about, and protecting Florida's nature,
• Conservation,
• Local growth management, and
• Environmental equity.

We educate members and the public on subjects such as

• Wildlife habitat needs]
• Climate change, and minimization of change through use of clean energy, use of trees, etc.;
• PFAS (non-degradable plastics), and recycling;
• Sustainable public transportation;
• Smart use of our water resources;
• Importance of keeping and enhancing neighborhoods, etc.

We give members and the public ways to speak out.
