Join Sierra Club Leadership!
The Angeles Chapter Nominating Committee is recruiting for Executive Committee candidates for Chapter At Large positions. We are looking for members from groups, sections and committees. We are striving for the Angeles Chapter leadership to reflect the diverse membership and population of the Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
Executive Committee members guide the Sierra Club’s work in our communities. We make decisions about environmental policy, recommend the endorsement of political candidates, and direct our outreach activities. A good Executive Committee member has a deep love for the Sierra Club and the environment, and a willingness to serve the organization, and collaborate with fellow members to explore, enjoy and protect our wild places.

To run, candidates should contact the Nominating Committee chair for more information. There is also an option to run by petition.
Terms are for two (2) years 2027-2028
The Chapter Excom has 4 positions available to fill.
To be eligible to run for ExCom, candidates must be active Sierra Club members. • The election runs through October 1- November 13, 2026
If you know someone that would be a great fit for our Excom, maybe even yourself— contact our Nom Com on or before June 20. We will do the rest.
