The Mule Pack Section has been offering trips into the Sierra Nevada Mountains since 1984. These are backcountry basecamp trips lasting from four to seven days. Each trip will have two or three leaders who have undergone rigorous training and who have first aid and CPR certification. All trip leaders are volunteers and the number trips offered each year will depend on how many leaders are available. Over the past 25 years, there were as few as two trips and as many as eight trips.
