The Verdugo Hills Group is one of 16 Regional Groups of the Angeles Chapter of the Sierra Club. The Regional Groups' geographic boundaries were established by the Chapter using Zip Codes. You may ask to be reassigned to any Regional Group or Chapter. Verdugo Hills Group area includes Glendale, Burbank and parts of Los Angeles.

The Verdugo Hills Group runs a number of events. See the list at the bottom of the page for upcoming events. Events include Virtual (and soon a return to in-person) programs, hikes, urban walks, car camping trips, lodge events, and international trips. 

We are active in conservation activities. We have a service project maintaining a garden at the Corralitas Steps in Silver Lake. We work in Partnership with the Glendale Environmental Coalition as well as Burbank activists to support climate, clean energy, solid waste, and other environmental issues. 

Our Verdugo Hills Group newsletter is Verdugo Views. The Verdugo Views publication dates are the first of odd number months. You should expect your electronic copy a few days prior. There may be additional postings announcing Verdugo Hills meetings, special activities, conservation alerts, and official political endorsements. To sign up, use the form on the right.
