Explore the Matanzas Inlet

kayaking

This summer, I am sure, you have plans to get out of the house, out of town, explore beautiful areas and visit friends and family. Given that the temperature will rise, you will want to be on the water, in the water and even under the water…to cool off and feel alive again.

Whatever your plans are, go out and enjoy nature and its beauty!!! I have one suggestion if you want to go on an outing for the day: leave early to go and explore the Matanzas Inlet by kayaking with the company called Ripple Effect Ecotours. Led by professional guides, who have an extensive knowledge of the Matanzas Inlet and river, you will see lots of wildlife: crabs, birds and dolphins to name a few. Take the kids or grandkids and enjoy either the morning tour or the sunset tour. You can reach them at www.rippleeffectecotours.com or call them at 1-904-347-1565. Tickets include also entrance to the Marineland Dolphin Center, across the road. You can also enjoy the ocean at Crescent Beach or visit St Augustine and camp at the Anastasia State Park, if you want to extend your stay.

Make sure you bring water, a big hat, sunscreen, bug spray, water shoes and a camera.
