The Zero Waste Team partnered with the Minnehaha Falls Art Fair event organizers to make this year’s fair a zero waste event. Food vendors used compostable dinnerware and volunteers helped ensure compostables and recycling ended up in the right bins. We also hosted a booth sharing information on alternatives to plastic. We got a great response from people about the Packaging Bill (HF4132 / SF4518) which holds producers responsible for the packaging they create.
