The team continues meeting monthly, on the third Monday. The May gathering included a discussion of prefigurative politics, a short resource list on degrowth, compiled by Timothy yay, and a handout on climate grief.
In June, team member Ivan Idso shared info about the Rochester Black Elephant group (more about them next month) and its recent visit from a member of a Swedish eco-village, along with a great series of videos from Earthfest.
The team is starting to put some projects up on the map, including a teach-in June 25th, preliminary plans to recruit and educate policy-makers, and to create an alternate State of the State report, which would reflect human happiness and ecological harmony, instead of growth-for-growth’s sake.
