Mission

The Rochester Area Sierra Club is working for a just, equitable, and fast transition to 100% renewable energy in Southeast Minnesota.

What We Do

The Rochester Leadership Team…

  • Provides input on Sierra Club’s campaign goals;

  • Develops and supports organizing strategies and tactics through working groups;

  • Engages the Rochester community through outreach, communications, mobilization, and leadership development;

  • And builds relationships with partner organizations, community leaders and new volunteers to advance shared vision and goals.

Get Involved

The Rochester Leadership Team meets on the second Monday of each month at 6:30pm. Meetings are held virtually (for now) and typically 1.5 hours. Team members meet to build relationships, share updates, plan and get work done. Team members commit to volunteering about 2 hours per month outside of meetings to plan and execute various activities, including participating in or supporting various working groups.
