WHO WE ARE

The Yokuts Group serves Stanislaus County and is one of 11 regional groups within the Mother Lode Chapter of the Sierra Club in Northern California.

Our monthly newsletter, The Valley Habitat, is published jointly with the Stanislaus Audubon Society and is mailed to Stanislaus County Sierra Club members on record. Stanislaus Audubon is now sending out the Valley Habitat electronically to everyone for whom we have an email address. We encourage members to opt for electronic delivery in order to reduce the expense and labor of printing, labeling, and mailing the newsletter. Please consider requesting electronic delivery; to do so, send your name and email address to John Harris at johnh@mills.edu. You can always read the latest issue of The Valley Habitat online, just visit our group's home page and look for the latest issue towards the bottom of the page.
