It's Time to Save Money on Solar

Solarize Asheville-Buncombe offers bulk purchasing for rooftop solar, battery storage, and other clean energy technologies for homes and businesses in Asheville and Buncombe County. You may be able to save up to 25% of the cost of an installed solar system through the program’s volume discounts. To date, 565 households have signed up.

The campaign is also supporting workforce development for the solar industry and subsidizing solar for low- and moderate-income families through the Neighbor-to-Neighbor plan. To learn more, sign up for a free estimate, or donate to the neighbor-to-neighbor fund, see the Solarize Asheville-Buncombe website.

New opportunity: Pints for a Purpose. Hi-Wire Brewing is hosting a fundraiser for the Neighbor-to-Neighbor Fund on Thursday, July 15, at their Big Top location in Biltmore Village. From 5 to 8 pm, $1 of each beer sale will go to the Fund. Organizers of Solarize Buncombe will be on hand to explain the solar bulk purchasing program.
