Flowing Forward: A Community Guide to Lead Service Line Replacements in Memphis
Speaker: LaTricea Adams, President & CEO, Young Gifted & Green
| Program Description: Memphis is at a pivotal moment with a federal mandate to replace all lead service lines in 10 years. This session will focus on empowering our community through education and transparency regarding lead service line replacement. We will explore the current landscape of our city’s drinking water system, highlighting how increased awareness and collective advocacy can ensure equitable investment across all neighborhoods. Attendees will gain practical knowledge on how to access water testing resources, stay informed about lead service line replacement updates, and effectively collaborate with local leaders to prioritize a lead-free Memphis for generations to come. |
