Sierra Club Utah Chapter Announces Endorsements for 2026 Primary Election

The Sierra Club Utah Chapter has announced its endorsements for State House & State Senate for Utah’s 2026 primary election.

"More than ever, we need strong advocates for the environment in office.  These leaders are standing on the right side of our environmental issues here in Utah. They are the leaders we need to fight for a future that ensures we have protections for clean water and air. "

The following list of candidates has been endorsed by the Sierra Club Utah Chapter Political Committee:

State House Endorsements:

  • Andrew Stoddard (House District 40)
  • Erin Jemison (House District 34)

State Senate Endorsements:

  • CJ Hernandez (Senate District 5)
  • Evan Done (Senate District 13)
  • Stephanie Pitcher (Senate District 14)

Primary Election Day is Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Ballots will be mailed to all registered voters starting June 2. To update your registration, track your ballot, or find a polling place, visit vote.utah.gov.
