Time: 5:00 - 7:00 pm
Our goal: To provide the space and time for local environmental activists in Olympia to get together, network and have some fun.
Local candidates for the November General election who have been endorsed by Sierra Club are welcome to introduce themselves and schmooze with us.
No fundraising activities are planned.
Leaders of other local organizations are welcome and invited to share what your group is doing.
The Sierra Club is serving plant-based burgers and hot dogs with fruit and veggie side dishes, desserts and cold drinks.
Attendees are welcome at their option to bring a side dish or dessert to share.
Carpooling to the park is recommended.

Anna Zivarts: When Driving Is Not an Option with Veronica Jarvis
Anna Letitia Zivarts is a low-vision mom and nondriver who was born with the neurological condition nystagmus. Since launching the Disability Mobility Initiative at Disability Rights Washington in 2020, Zivarts has worked to bring the voices of nondrivers to the planning and policy-making tables through organizing, research and policy campaigns led by nondrivers.
