Welcome!
The Sierra Club Camera Committee is an activity group within the Angeles Chapter, which we support through the medium of photography.
Our goal is to show the natural beauty of our world as well as reveal areas for conservation and social justice concerns. We share and promote photography to inspire and educate our members and others. We offer presentations, demonstrations, and discussions, as well as outings. Everyone is welcome at our meetings and on our outings. Links to the latest and past issues of Focal Points Magazine are available at no cost.

The winter of 2023 brought an unusual amount of snow to the mountains surrounding Los Angeles, along with high winds and heavy clouds. From his vantage point in the Baldwin Hills, photographer Joe Doherty caught the sunlight slicing between clouds to light up the Downtown Los Angeles skyline.
