Goals

1. A 10% reduction in nutrient pollution (Total Nitrogen and total phosphorus through the Mississippi River Ecosystem.
2. Establishment of phosphorus limits of 0.5 mg/L total phosphorus on an annual mean average for major discharges or lower where needed to meet local cater quality conditions by 2025.
3. Implement number water quality standard for Nitrogen and Phosphorus in five states within the Mississippi River Ecosystem, with emphasis on the main stem states.
4. Reduce the Dead Zone in the Gulf of Mexico for 10% by 2028.
