Co-Sponsored by The Sierra Club; Citizens Institute for Public Policy; Citizen Climate Lobby; Spokane Riverkeeper; The Lands Council; Trout Unlimited; Carbon Washington; Unitarian Universalist Church of Spokane; Peace & Justice Action League of Spokane; and Spokane Veterans for Peace; the Riverfront Park rally in Washington attracted over 400 local environmental activists.
Activists showed support for strong action on climate change in Paris and the local Beyond Coal "Coal Free Avista" campaign against a ~2000MW coal plant in Colstrip, MT.
