PHILADELPHIA -- This Wednesday, please join us for the premiere of the documentary, “What Needs To Be Done: Six Stories Of Built To Last,” which showcases the interviews of six Hunting Park homeowners who received home repairs through Philadelphia’s Built To Last Program.

What: Hunting Park Neighborhood Advisory Committee, Sierra Club Pennsylvania, Physicians for Social Responsibility Pennsylvania, and HERE 4 ClimateJustice are hosting the premiere screening of “What Needs To Be Done: Six Stories Of Built To Last” followed by a panel discussion and Q&A.

Where: Esperanza Arts Center, 4261 N 5th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140

When: Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Who: The residents in the documentary, Built To Last Program Administrators, and Philadelphia policy makers will be in attendance and taking questions, including:

  • Gail Pryor and Sharon Hiskell (two Hunting Park residents and B2L participants who were interviewed for the film)
  • Emma Boorboor (Community Outreach Director for Senator Saval -- whose office spearheaded the creation of the statewide Whole Home Repair Program) 
  • Osarugue Grace Osa-Edoh (HERE 4 Climate Justice steering committee member and Community Legal Services attorney)
  • Alon Abramson (PEA Director of Residential Programs)
