Please join us at one of our hikes, or meetings. Our monthly meetings are usually held at 7:00pm. on the first Thursday of the month—except June, July, and August—at St. Francis Parish, Mulvoy Building, 811 Fifth Avenue, Tuscaloosa. We lead weekend day and overnight hikes and sponsor activities to inform Sierra Club members and the general public about local, regional, state, and national environmental issues. The West Alabama Group is one of six groups within the Alabama Chapter. It includes Dallas, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Lawrence, Lowndes, Marengo, Pickens, Sumter, Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Wilcox counties in Alabama.
