About Us - Sierra Club's Centennial Group in Northwest Georgia

Sierra Club Centennial Group

The Centennial Group of the Georgia Chapter Sierra Club was organized in 1992, the one hundredth anniversary of the national Sierra Club.

Our members are primarily from Cobb, Cherokee, and North Fulton counties. We volunteer to educate, assist, and encourage our fellow citizens to protect Georgia's environment for our children, families, communities and for future generations.

We normally meet on the first Thursday of each month at Life University in Marietta. We host a variety of programs relating to our conservation goals and our appreciation of Georgia’s natural treasures. We also sponsor a variety of outings for members and nonmembers.
