Film and Story of the Wood River Coal Power Plant
This event will  present the twenty minute documentary "Wood River Station," produced and presented by John Woodall, recent graduate of Principia College. This is the story of the now demolished coal power plant in East Alton. He will discuss the making of the film, the issues that it evokes, and will invite discussion on the ongoing concerns and risks from coal power plant emissions.

Bio/Background:

Woodall just graduated from Principia College with a degree in Digital Media Production in May. His final capstone project was this documentary on Wood River Station. Video production is Woodall's passion, and one he hopes to build a career in. He has shot music videos, short films, comedic sketches, travel videos, commercials, marketing videos and most recently documentaries.  Besides filmmaking, Woodall loves photography, all things outdoors (backpacking, camping, climbing, etc), woodworking and cooking.
