We are a local Sierra Club group based in Columbus, Indiana, under the umbrella of Sierra Club Hoosier Chapter. We host our own events, such as hiking, statehouse visits with our elected representatives, and educational programs at the library. We attend other Sierra Club group events, such as anti-logging marches and clean energy events. And we support a variety of other environmental and human rights events, such as Columbus Pride and Juneteenth Jubilee.
All are welcome to come to any of our activities and find something that is right for you!

Member Spotlight: Natalie Perry
Hi! I’m Natalie Perry. I joined Winding Waters Group in 2022 and currently serve as Vice Chair.
My passion lies in environmental advocacy and I have found great joy in supporting native habitats within our urban areas through pollinator projects and our annual Sierra Club Winding Waters native plant sale.
In my free time you may see me out and about planting and maintaining native plant beds, supporting our local invasive plant removal groups, or exploring one of the many amazing mountain bike trails in our area.
I look forward to meeting you at one of our Winding Waters events!
Thank you for all you do as we enjoy, explore, and protect the planet.
