Do you have a love of the outdoors, a strong commitment to equity and justice, and a passion to fight climate change to protect the environment in Indiana?
The Executive Committee is made up of volunteers from the Sierra Club membership, so that means people just like you! Following the election in December of 2025, each elected member will serve a 2 year term that will begin January 1, 2026.
Ideal candidates might possess some or all of the following attributes:
* Current Sierra Club member (required) * Passion for protecting our land, air and water * Commitment to social justice and equity and to protecting our human rights * Good leadership and communication skills * Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manner * Experience and/or interest in local politics and conservation issues (learn by joining us!) * Experience and/or interest in fundraising, lobbying, supporting the Chapter Political Action Committee, and other organizing skills
